Job Summary
Well Rooted Pediatrics is looking for friendly, dependable, hard-working Patient Services Representative-Front Desk to join our team. As a a Patient Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, answer phone calls, and collect payment information. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work well under pressure, and have outstanding customer service skills. A positive attitude is a must!!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide an excellent customer experience
- Maintain computerized scheduling and follow office scheduling policies
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Assist parents with completion of intake and consent forms
- Handle confidential information including patient medical records.
- Verification of patient insurance benefits and eligibility prior to the appointment
- Confirm appointments and send appointment reminders
- Faxing medical documents/records
- Maintain a clean and presentable front office and reception area.
- Maintain accurate patient information
- Process patient payments
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of medical office/clerical experience, pediatrics preferred
- Proficiency with computers, typing and basic software use.
- Positive attitude and ability to use good judgment
- Professional behavior and appearance
- Excellent communication skill and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
Compensation: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
